Citect-Oracle interfacing using ODBC

I need to interface Citect SCADA with Oracle database for storing and retrieval of the historical data.

Somebody please help me in accomplishing this.

One way of doing this is to write an application in VB or C# to acquire data from Citect SCADA through OPC and storing in the Oracle database.
