CMOS Setup not displaying

There was a problem of checksum error on my PC bcos of exhausted battery,I replaced with new one. But now PC is not showing CMOS setup on pressing del key on StartUp,but it restarts.

When i boot normally or in safe mode PC starts and WinXP logo with processbar appears and then it suddenly restarts.

Even i have reinstalled winxp.But same problem is persisting.

I need a immediate help

Pls help?
