Cold Junction Compensation for Thermocouple (I/O card: BMXART0814)

Hi,
good day everyone

I am using x80 i/o platforms`s analog input card BMXART0814, the problem is that it does not have internal CJC (cold junction compensation), you have to add external pt-100 for it or use telefast modules for that. I am in favor of using pt-100 as it is lesser expensive.

The problem is i am unable to find pt-100 which would be suitable to be mounted inside the panel, as i have 19 cards each having 8 channels so i have to place 19 pt-100 for CJC, Can anyone suggests me the appropriate model or type which is suitable for my application.

this is my first post,

waiting for expert`s responses.

The idea is to measure the temperature of the screw terminal connections. Sometimes ambient temperature reflects that tempeature, other times it doesn't. The Schneider manual has a statement on conditional limits when its Telefast connectors are used (max air flow, proximity to heat sources). That concept applies to any CJ measurement.

Check out Omega, particularly the little adhesive mount elements:

and be creative about what you pick and how you mount it. That's why you're an engineer, right? You like those challenges.

If it were me, I'd bail out on the Schneider platform and use another with internal CJ AI cards.
