Comm Problems with Omron serial port

Hi there,

I want to use the 2nd serial port on the OMRON CJ1W for an additional measure system, but I don`t know how to configure the port so that it can be used in the main program (CX-Porgrammer). Should i use CX-Protocol? Has anyone done this before? I only want to send and receive simple ASCII- Strings.
