communication between interbus and modicon (quantum) plc

I have a device with an IBM compatible process computer which works as an interbus master. I want to transfer data from this device to my quantum plc so I will be able to show the status of this device on my HMI (and maybe use it later for control too).
Is there a way to connect between them?

Depending on the HMI you are using, there are several ways. It sounds as if you are using the Quantum strictly as a buffer between the HMI and your Process Controller. If your HMI allows you to load an OPC Server, you can get the data
directly from your Process Controller and bypass the Quantum all together. Phoenix has an OPC Servers available as well as 3rd party companies. I have done the same using Cutler-Hammers ePro HMI by installing an Interbus-S ISA PC card in the Processor Controller and an Ethernet connection to the HMI.

Hi,
Modicon have a card (140 NOA 611 10) that can work as Interbus Master, but not as slave.
I hope that this information can help you.
