I hope I understand your question, and give you an adequate answer. A manual for Profibus-DP networks (hardware elements) can be downloaded from Siemens's website:

Look for file profnn2_e.pdf.

For basic information on the Profibus network, look at http://www.profibus.com and open the Technology tab. You can also look at the Products tab, it catalogs thousands of Profibus vendors and hardware elements.
