The ICS has a AUI port. A cable is connected to this which terminates in a DLINK module DE851 which is a piercing type TAP sitting of the thick ethernet. The PC is located at a distance of 50 mtrs. The thick ethernet cable runs upto the PC.
One more DLINK module DE851 is located near to the PC on the thick ethernet. One end of AUI cable is connected to this DLINK Module and the other end is connected to the PC. I want to no when both the ends have AUI connection is it possible to eliminate this DLINK. We are prepared to compromise on the distance. Please clarify.
