We are searching for a MODBUS software that will run in a PC, communicate with the ACM11 card of the DCS and read/write data from or to the DCS?

If such software is available on the net kindly provide link. Any person having implemented the above can please provide feedback.

 

Is the PC slave or master?

Are you talking about more than a protocol emulator running on a PC simply use to check communications? Is there a need for visualization on the PC, some sort of user/operator interface?

If the PC is the master you could take a look at FAST/Tools. If the PC is the slave it is a bit more unusual but how about PICS?

Myself & Prakash have already tested this functionality using some MODBUS software that was installed on the PC kept in GCU area-1 Printer table.

This was also tested in HDPE while doing SLC500 commn with DCS.

MODSCAN may help.

I allways use modscan for comissioning with cs-3000, it works good.

 

Are You From AVPTI ?

I guess problem has been resolved, it seems. But Use ModScan for Slave and ModSim For Master. DO you know which is master ?
