Connect load cell to Mitsubishi PLC

yeah - you need a plc that handle analog inputs, which some of the FX'd do as well as the new "alpha"

> Is it posible to connect load cells to a Mitsubishi PLC? Depending on how many load cells your dealing with, it may be easier to get a load cell transmitter from M-System of Dallas (800/544-3181)and then go to a PLC with a 4-20 ma signal. The transmitters provide excitation and are isolated. H. Wilson

One solution is to use a signal conditioner
(TTLM-4) from Toledo Integrated Systems (Toledo Transducers, Inc.). Toledo offers not only the signal conditioner but also offers standard and custom load cells. I have recently installed four control systems on mechanical stamping presses for DANA Corporation. On each control system I used a TTLM, 4 load cells and a A1S68DAV Mitsubbishi analog module and had great success.
