can anyone assist me with a procedure to Connect citect 5.5 scadas to national instruments opc server? I'm new to automation.

Have you tried using the Express Communications Wizard? If not then select the Citect Project Editor then go Communication -> Express Wizard.

If it is a new project you will probably want to create a new I/O server and I/O device. Select an 'External' device and then from the drivers list select Drivers -> OPC Foundation -> OPC Server -> OPC. For the address you
will need to know the server name string.

This should be all there is to it.
