we had a transformer failure and we have a spare GSU with different voltage rating than the generator. the engineers are saying they can use the GSU. please help me understand how this can be done? are there any calculations that can be done to determine how low rated GSU can we use for the generator.
generator rating 18KV
GSU available 17kv.
