I want to hook up a loadcell directly to a FieldPoint AI-100. But i called the suppliers of a loadcell and they said i'll need to buy a loadcell transmitter to get accurate readings. This is rather expensive and i don't think the university will give me the funds.
They said the output of loadcells is in mV and i'm not sure if the fieldpoint module can handle mV. Even if it could, my power supply must provide a dead accurate DC supply. a 1% in fluctuation of input voltage = 1% error in loadcell reading!
So i was wondering if there is a solution to this problem without buying a loadcell Transmitter.
