Containment Pressure Measurement

I'm looking for some advice on pressure measurement inside of reactor containment. Our current setup is a differential pressure transmitter mounted outside of containment with the low side vented to the atmosphere. The high side is 1/4" capillary tubing routed through containment wall within a 1/2" pipe to a remote bellow sensing unit. The sensing unit transmits the pressure within contain and compares it to the pressure outside of containment. Does anyone have an alternative to this without the need for capillary tubing while keeping the XMTR outside of containment? Would 3/8" SST tubing connected to the 1/2" pipe on the high side with only a 3/8" SST tube stub inside of containment and the low side vented to atmosphere outside of containment work?
