I have a PCI DAQ Card and i want to display the captured data of atleast three channels , save them in a file after 5 minutes .

Also i have an old device from which i want to interface it to parallel port of PC and acquire data.

Since i am new to the feilds of VB/VC++ please help me sort out this problem at the erliest

 

I think you need to contact the manufacturer of your pci card and get the active control for your card if it is available. If the card you were using was connected to an usb, firewire, or serial port then only thing you needed to do is to add the mscomm control available when loading vb6 common controls form. The icon of the mscomm control is the one that looks like a yellow phone.
