Controlling stepper with Micrologix

How can I control a stepper motor using the Micrologix model relay output, without damaging the relay contact because of fast switching?

From experience I can tell you... you can't use Micrologix model relay output.... The function PTO (pulse train output) is usefull on Micrologix model transistor output. Additional information at www.ab.com
