Each of the headends needs 16 RS232, 2 RS485, 30-50 contactclosures. Drivers for the various equipment in the headend must be written with a well develloped SDK. In the central controlroom a nice gui should present the error in a graphical way, preferably using a map.
We are at the moment building up a test PC with cards that does this, but perhaps this highly experienced discussion forum has other suggestions, like a "BlackBox" etc.
