Dear sir,

I try to interface the Fire Alarm System "Simplex 4100U" to ABB's Symphony DCS system via Modbus protocol. Please advise me how to do this or if the system needs to install intelligent controller to be 3rd party system. If possible, which brand and model of it?

Hi Mr. Poonlap

This is a very common application for www.fieldserver.com. The Simplex 4100 protocol & Modbus RTU are loaded on the hardware platform from FieldServer then the data points are mapped through to give seamless communication from Simplex 4100 to Modbus RTU.
