converting 0-20ma to 0-10v

How about running the current through a 500 ohm resistor? I.e. put two 1 kohm resistors in parallel

Your device may have a 1 to 10 signal converted to 0 - 20 mA inside the product. Maybe check with the Manuf. to see.

Also - going to 1 to 10 V, I think you will need 3 wires a +, - and stack. To do the same job.

Just put in the 0..20mA current loop a 500 Ohm precision resistor. The voltaje drop across the resitor will be between 0 to 10 V, proportional to the 0..20 mA signal.
