Hello List,

Does anyone know of a product on the market that will convert a resolver signal to an encoder signal. Any suggestions regarding a chip, board, etc. that exists would be helpful. Please advise.

Crystal,

Look at DDC or Analog Devices. DDC has one called the RDC19022 (that's from memory) that's about $60. How to do it is in the data sheet.

It's been several years since I've designed anything with these chips, so you might want to poke around the site a bit to see if there's anything new and/or better for a particular application.
