Does any one know of any programs that change from Provox to Delta V? If there is nothing that does this directly, does the Delta V software package have built in conversion, or does anyone have any methods of converting from one package to another without having to do everything from scratch?

We are currently looking at migrating a TDC 3000 legacy system to either Delta V or Experion.

Delta V seems to have much better integration propsects when migrating from another older Fisher system as opposed to Honeywell. It uses an OPC mirror to integrate with Honeywell, which seems a bit clumsy, while Experion uses several innovative 'bridge' modules that fit right into the system architecture.

Best bet would be to talk to your local Emerson rep as he'll have all the finer detail. Emerson also have some very good migration data for various legacy systems on their website, which I know includes Provox and RS3.
