what is coriollis effect?
how corioliis flowmeter is working?
can anybody help me?

Simple demonstration:
Take a garden hose and make a large loop.
Hold the hose where the loop crosses over and allow the loop to hang freely.
Start to swing the loop and then get someone to turn on the water.
You will quickly see that flow produces asignificant twist in the loop and it doesn't take much to recognise that the degree of twist is related to the flow rate.

When you substitute a thin walled metal tube for your garden hose you will recognise that the amount of twist will be very much less requiring you to find a balance of tube bore, loop dimater and flow rate to obtain a measurable twist. Measuring the twist is more difficult.

The original mass meter was a single U tube vibrated at its resonant frequency and driven from a fixed base, the degree of twits was also measured from the fixed base. This base also made it very vulnerable to external noise and hence the next development was to produce two parallel tubes vibrating relative to each other.

The next step is to generate coriolis effects in a single straight tube which is more convenient in many flow situations though more difficult to conceptualise.
This was first done by Solartron (the MassMaster series which are no longer manufactured) followed by Khrone and now Emerson.

What more do you need to know?

Good day
All true except for two things.
Solatron - Is still actively manufactured in the USA. Emerson who owns Micro Motion has purchased Solatron and has carried on manufacturing the straight line massflow, density meter. Emerson Process Management (Micro Motion) - We have massflow meters on sites that are over 20 years old and still working.

Dont know where you got your facts?
