Cross Current In Synchronized Generators

I have first experience of synchronizing three generators. The problem is that neutrals of all three generators have 150 Amperes to 185 Amperes circulating or cross current. While one of our same system have 10 to 15 Amperes nominal current.

I have to try now voltage droop in AVR;
the second plan is Neutral Resistive Ground, commonly known as NGR.

Can anyone kindly comment on it or suggest any other possible solution?

(Equipment & cable heating & unbalanced power distribution are the problems due to it.)

Hi there..

What is the rated power of your generators?? Try to lower the droop from the AVR to lessen the circulating current. And also observe if the current is going back to zero.

One of three Genset AVR has no Voltage Droop setting.

Yes, current starts flowing after Circuit Breakers are closed or genset are connected to Load.

hi,
for reducing circulating current the voltage droop setting of your gensets should be same. if u using same xrmer for these three genset u can use neutral as floting. for minimizing circulating current u can also use cross current voltage droop method.
