Current/Power Limitation for Hazardous Areas

Can you tell me what are the current/power limitations for hazardous areas?

It depends on which protection technique you are talking about and for which Gas Group.

If you are using Ex'd' (Explosionproof), then there isn't really a limit.

If you are talking about Intrinsic Safety, then in Gas Group IIC (Hydrogen), as a rule of thumb you can have useable working values of 30V and 20mA and still have reasonable cable lengths.
