i found an opc server for omron, but it needs a licence number to setup it, does anyone know about this or from where i can buy it , i search omron web site but nothing.

 

I have the same CD....

Look on the back of the CD jewel case. In the upper left corner is a white sticker. The license number is printed on the sticker.

If you have a copy of CX-Programmer or CX-Supervisor you have a legal copy of CX-Server with the software. It is Omron middleware. The other middleware they have is FINS Gateway. This is used to connect a SCADA system etc etc to Omron PLCs via Ethernet, Sysmac Link or Controller Link cards. This is also included with bot sets of software.
