I need to design a speed control circuit for a DC motor using a closed loop gain circuit. Would anybody know where I could get a schematic of such a circuit or a link to a usefull site on the topic?

Designing a control circuit for the speed control application of the DC motor is simple. First step is to get the transfer function model of the motor. Then design a controller. I have done a similar thing. I have used PI controller. The details about this can be viewed in the site:
