I'm in the last year in faculty of Engineering, i'm working in my graduation project. i need your help please in contrlling the speed of DC motors. I Don't know the type of control that i should use (Closed loop DC motor speed control). Thanks in advance.

just use a plc for controlling the speed of the motor.

 

Probably just a Tachometer and a PI loop. There should be lots of books on implementing this, its classical controls.
