Hello all, does anybody know how to communicate MS Excel 2000 with Monitor Pro 7.2

I'm trying defining DDE server in Monitor Pro, and using "=FLNAME.FLUSER|RTDB!DDE" in Excel, according to manual it should be enough but, it doesn't work.

I read something about INITIATE using macros, but in VBA I have tu use DDEInitiate...

Please if anybody knows how it works, I'll be very thankful.

I don't know about v7.2 but I've done it with v7.0. Do you use excel in the same computer your monitor pro application is running? If so, you just have to add a FLDDESRV task to the system configuration (flag = FSR, path = bin/flddesrv) in configuration explorer. Then in excel add =flapp1.fluser1|RTDB!your_tag_name, start your application and your tag value should be shown in excel.
