The debutanizer temperature is controlled by a cascaded control scheme,i.e., the debutanizer temperature is controlled by a temp controller resetting the desuperheated steam flow to the reboiler. The desuperheated steam is generated from a desuperheater by injecting boiler feed water(BFW)into the 600# superheated steam. The 600# superheated steam flow is reset by the pressure controller at the desuperheater outlet. The BFW flow is reset by a temperature controller at the desuperheater outlet. Will the system work? What is the degrees of freedom of the system?
