What is maximum DST count that DeltaV MD+ Controller can handle at 70% load?

 

This question cannot be answered because it depends on how you set up the control schemes. How fast you scan the control modules etc. I have a very small system that is loaded down with 2 racks of IO (small) but there is some complex sequencing and control code that runs "fairly" fast and loads the MD controller down. It is not really based on DST's.

I agree , It depends upon scan time & safe processor loading envisaged by user, But at 1.0 second scan rates of FB it can handle 750 DST. Again this information is 1 year old.

 

I agree, I think this need to test based on your module template. I found that communication with other system will use more load.
