Design PID controller for a blower system

I have a project where I have to design a PID controller for a temperature process, which a second order transfer function of

1.24e^-0.2s/0.0498s^2 + 0.509s + 1

designing the PID has to be done using two methods:
The ziegler-nichols method and the direct synthesis method of Dahlin.

I'm having difficulty finding information regrading the temperature process and the direct synthesis method of dahlin. if you could help me find sources on these I would be very greatful.

I'm also not very advanced on using MATLAB/SIMULINK especially on setting the parameters for the numerator of the transfer function above.
