Can somebody give an idea about interfacing a device which is having Rs-232 communication out put to Analog signal of 4-20mA so as to display or control at some place. Is there any standard convertors available in market for such purpose..if there then kindly reply me at "[email protected]", mailto:[email protected] .

The only device that I have ever come across that might to do this is a RS-232 bi-directional <-> 4-20mA converter made by an Australian company.

Can u pl elaborate a little bit about your application. If u are looking for a device which will collect data from a device on 4-20 ma, and places on RS232 , there are many devices like that. Like ADVANTEC, and many other.
