How to connect Devicenet devices to old 984 PLCs with Modbus Plus? Do converters exist?

 

Have a look at AnyBus - at http://www.anybus.com/eng/products/abxchoose.asp.
I haven't used them - but they look promising to me.

Meir pointed out a neat looking solution. You should also think about going DN to MB or perhaps DN to Ethernet/IP and then converting to MBP.

Check out www.odva.org for a complete catalog of DN products.

Also, check out www.prolinxgateways.com for some other converters (admittedly no DN converters) that might help you out.
