Differences in Pressure Transmitter principles

Can anyone tell me the evaluation criteria in selecting a pressure transmitter. There are transmitters based on piezo resistivity,
capacitance, inductace, resonance. Which is the BEST ?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of transmitters working on these principles.

I sold during many years Rosemount transmitter and the result was the BEST. Normally they are more than expensive than other brand but the TCoO
compensate the difference price

They use capacitance sensing element. This is very stable in temperature and it is not affected for the industrial noise (inductance and resonance
normally yes).

You need three basis selecting criteria and data:
1.-Physical Specification: material of construction (diaphragm, wetted part,
housing), mounting type, process and electrical connection, etc.
2.-Functional Specification: service, range (e. unit), output, power supply,
approvals, etc
3.-Performance Specification: accuracy, stability, temp and pressure effect,
etc

If you need online diagnostic in the application use a Smart transmitter instead conventional transmitter. In this case for special parameter you need to use a configurator interface. In this transmitter the calibration can be done as a standard procedure. (pressure simulation).
