I'm attempting to do some configurations and monitoring for a development network, and I have been trying to capture network communications involving downloading new ladder-logic developed using RSLogix to my MicroLogix 1400 PLC. I have my comms set up in RSLogix to use DNP3, but it won't transfer via DNP3 to the device. Is this a normal issue? And is there a way to force it to download to the PLC via DNP3.
The reason for this is I have gotten a DNP3 firewall, and I wanted to force all traffic to go through it. So can one send these programs from a dev system to the PLC this way? Thanks for the help!
