I have seen in P&IDs that in some line there is a note says "Don't Pocket". What does it imply and what are the considerations for not pocketing.

This means don't have a low point where liquid can accumulate. This is quite common on vent lines, the must run horizontal or slope down from the relief valve.

It also applies to lines other than relief lines.
