We have DP flow transmitter in LPG Service. Found condensate water during draining cause of erratic reading. Any solution that can be shared to solve the issue. tnx

hi tom!

tnx for your reply. Can you please elaborate your advice. Since it is LPG, our current mounting is from the tapping point down to the transmitter.

Tom had a good solution. Also it sounds like your transmitter taps are on the bottom of the line. In my plant we have a lot of DPs of various styles, mostly rosmounts. Maybe look at a different style DP, instead of tubing taps into the line. if condensate is that big of an issue, maybe look at flange mounted DP. Low and High sides are flange mounted on 4in flanges with isolation valves in front of the high and low sides so the transmitter and capillary (high and Low) can be removed for service. we use them on screens, lines, stock flow, foul condensate, etc, they work great. water build up on the face of the capillary is not an issue since its like 3in in diameter. my specs may be wrong, check rosemount site for specs.
