I am looking for a script file to detect a flaw and reject further down the conveyor line. Such as some type of shift register file. Can anyone suggest an appropriate file? Thanks

 

a. Are you looking for a Script file that you can load inside the camera?
Check out the DVT Site for scripts they have quite a few and your local rep will be able to assist you if you are having trouble.

b. Are you looking for some kind of Shift Register to track your bad parts, before the reject chute?.
If this is so then I would think you will have to do this in your PLC......

What series of Camera are you using? 500/600...

There is a way to do what you are looking for from inside the camera itself depending on how many parts you have between the camera and the reject chute.

** This will not work for high speed scanning..

I dont think the camera was designed to store and index your parts for you, however there are ways to do it.... It will need additional hardware at the reject chute to sense a part etc., there are a lot of vairables to make it work ...
how reliable it will be has to be found out in the REAL world.
