Hi,
How do you maintain an EMC screen through terminals? The best way is to mount the terminals in a metal box, and use metal glands to terminate the cables in and out. I have never seen this done in practise. I use a separate terminal for the screen, which avoids the 'pigtail
termination' problem but I'm not sure how useful this is.
One of my current projects, using LENZE drives, has to have contactors in the output circuit, what am I supposed to do here? mount them in
Faraday cages!!
