A few questions about Ovation:
1) Does anyone know of any installations that use Ovation DCS for Gas Turbine Control and Steam Turbine Control in Power Plants?
2) Can logic changes be made online?
3) How easy is it to connect different manufactures equipment to the Ovation network and display data from non Emerson equipment on the Ovation HMI?
4) Any comments about using Ovation to troubleshoot Ovation hardware problems and field device problems?
5) Comments about upgrades: how difficult, cost and anything else.
6) Factory support?
7) New and/or upgraded installations: Was the final product consistent with what was presented and promised prior to the purchase?
8) Any other comments you think may be useful to someone considering the Emerson Ovation DCS for Gas and Steam Turbine and Balance of Plant control.
