We have one doubt - coolant (Glycol) contamination causes rapid oxidation of the oil in High speed DG sets. how? Kindly clarify.

I am not a chemist, but oil and water (or glycol) don't mix well. Glycol make a poor lubricant. Not sure where you are going with this. Are you looking for the actual chemical reaction that occurs, or are you wondering why you need to keep the lubrication system separate from the cooling system?

We have one DG set with coolant diluted with engine oil & we need the actual chemical reaction. Kindly clarify.
