Hi,

When I start the installation of the Simatic Net 2001 CD, the software immediately gives a message in German:
"Die gesuchte Package in der regestry wurde in der SSF-Files nicht gefunden. Applikation Beendet"

Short translated to English:
The searched package in regestry cannot be found in the SSF-Files.

After this message, the installation is directly aborted.
I have no idea what this possibly could be.
I tried it on A Windows NT4.0 and on a Windows 2000 and Windows XP machine --> NO SUCCES!

I hope someone can help me
The program I need from the cd is "Simatic COML S7"

Hi All

Simatic Net no longer uses COML to set up, it now uses CP connection manager
so perhaps it is trying to tell you that COML is not on the disk.

The error message allready occurs when I try to install simatic net. So I don't get the chance to get to the selectorbox to select the programs to install.
Could you tell me a bit more about CP connection manager?

I have the same problem with my Simatic Net, I have the same message in German and The Setup is aborted. What can I do?
