I am running WonderWare 7.0 on four NT4.0 boxes with one of them serving alarms to the others.
Occasionally (and sporadically), the machine that serves the alarms locks up when the alarms are
cleared. Alarms then do not come in at all and any alarms that are left uncleared cannot be
cleared. The machine must be shut down completely and rebooted to correct the error (a soft restart does not correct the problem.

Has anyone else seen this problem and know of a solution?

I think, you need to re-Install Wonderware.
( some *.DLL corrupt )
OR
Mabe you need update patch Intouch 7.0.

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately, we have tried both those options. In fact, we upgrade the hardware too. I am at a loss on this one. Things are so much easier when it is a predictable error, but this one is just too erratic.

Any other ideas?
