I need a solution to communicate between GE Fanuc 90-30 PLCs (364/374) and Allen-Bradley PLCs (Compact-/Flex-/ControlLogix).

On the GE Fanuc side I have their own protocol Ethernet Global Data (EGD) and on the A-B side I have EtherNet IP.

I want to communicate in both ways.

Does someone know how to do this?

I have already taken a look at a gateway, Fieldserver, and it does the job for $2,300 (for 500 tags).

Grateful for any help!

/Robert!

I guess you are out of luck. One method we have used is to purchase a modbus interface for the AB - Prosoft MVI module and a PCM module one the GE side running modbus master/slave code. It took some testing to get the interface working. But there was, as such no limitation on the number of tags we could transmit.
