hello
i need to communicate citect scada with modicon m340 plc using ethernet...so could anyone please help me to go with the procedures for establishing the communication

 

As a "slave" device (eg connected to SCADA). Configure the Ethernet Network in the M340. Assign an IP address etc. Connect the cable. DONE!

As a Master (ie controlling reads/writes). Same procedure but you will have to configure function blocks in the Unity Pro logic to control read/writes.

I don't know if this is still the case, but you can also use the IO Scanner to read/write Ethernet (configuration only, no programming) but this function used to only work on NOE cards, not the processor itself.
