I am designing a Devicenet network and want to use the AB 1788-EN2DN to tie into our control fiber net. I've heard good and bad about this module and want to find if anyone else has used this. I plan on installing a seperate supply to both the ethernet side and Devicenet side. My cable legnths are a modest 425'. I was told that when the module is enabled it creates a tremendous amount of netowrk traffic. Since I'm running a dedicated fiber loop I may be able to live with this. Any comments? Is Networx MD worth the extra money or will it add a burden to the devicenet side of life?
