Experion Field Device Manager Device Tag

Hi everybody,

My question is what would happen in case of HART device tag and Honeywell Experion FDM tag has not been registered the same. As I read in Honeywell FDM manuals there are two types of tag in FDM. first is FDM tag and other is defined as Device tag. For HART devices we can register short tag, long tag and descriptor by using HART communicator. I want to know what would happen if we enter a device tag wrongly by HART communicator? does FDM check device tag and retrieve a conflict message and ask for modification?

Also is it possible to configure a device in FDM to use descriptor instead of short or long tag?
