Does anyone know what the serial Modbus transmission rate is for the C200 controllers? We are interfacing a TRICON PLC to the C200. The TRICON can transmit up to 115.2 kilobits per second per port. I need to know if the C200 can accept that rate.

Of course you can Mike. Triconex is use Modbus protocol as far as i know. C200 is use Power Adapter and FTA to accommodate modbus protocol. You must be careful on FTA maximum data transfer. FTA has a limit data transfer. (32 FB, 1 FB = 512 bit).

Can you tell me the model no. of FTA which can used to interface the Triconex PLC.

 

Model No. of Serial Interface Module is MU-PSIM11 - the IO Processor. TSIM12 - the RS232/RS485 board for interface. Other than this you can also use SERIES A Communication Module.
