Factory Link and Modicon Micro via serial port

Hi

How to establish communication between Factory Link and Modicon Micro via serial port?

I used to check out the function block called COMM in Modsoft but with no results.

When using Modbus communications, the Monitor Pro (Factoylink) PC will be the HOST and as such, the Modicon Micro will be a slave device. When the Micro is a slave, no progamming whatsoever is required in the PLC. Simply ensure that the Modbus port parameters as the same as those being used by the Host (FLink PC) and that you are using the correct cables and you will have no problem communicating. Also, make sure that you are not requesting address reference beyond the ranges configured in the PLC.
