I have a FactoryLink 6.6 application running on an old PC on winNT. It works fine, but I need more resources so I want to run this FactoryLink 6.6 application on Win2000.

Does FactoryLink 6.6 run on w2000?

Please tell me your experience. Thanks.

 

The FL Kernel runs also on a Windows 2000 or XP platform. The problems rises with the graphic module(s). All the GUI elements (text boxes, buttons, etc) change their dimensions in comparison with the same application running on WINNT.

USDATA only guaranties FactoryLink 6.6 to work on WINNT, OS2 or UNIX platforms! Anyway I read of an application running on LINUX.

 

As far as the fonts go, I found a website that offers a font fix for 2000. this is the link to it

I have my FL6.6 app running on my laptop with XP professional and the graphics do not seem to be too far off. But I have noticed the font issue they describe.
