for a fan application, we earlier used 37kw through vfd. most of the times it runs on 60HZ frequency. But the operation needs to raise the speed more n more. so we changed 45 KW 2 pole motor instead of 37kw 4pole motor. after connecting the 45 kw motor and changing the parameters of vfd according to new motor name plate, the vfd not crossing 25HZ, 27KW but the full load current goes to 80 Amps and it trips on overload.
the vfd o/p voltage at that time is only around 220V ph-ph. we need to utilize 45KW at certain speed, but the current alone restricts due to low voltage. how can i solve this problem.
